Section 13:103-7.7 - Correspondence to or from other juveniles and inmates of adult correctional facilities

(a) Correspondence to juveniles from inmates of adult correctional facilities may be read to ensure that the correspondence does not contain any content prohibited by 13:103-7.24. Mail between juveniles may not be read except as provided for in 13:103-7.8(a).

(b) The Superintendent or designee shall be authorized to limit correspondence to or from other juveniles and inmates of adult correctional facilities, for purposes of ensuring the safe, secure, and orderly operation of the residential community home or operational unit.
