Section 12:51-3.4 - Staff organization

(a) There will be a staff organization under the executive director which sets forth lines of authority, responsibility, and communication in accordance with policies established by the governing entity. The organizational structure will be designed to promote efficient and effective operation of the organization's programs. The organizational chart will be updated annually.
1. The delegation of
authority and responsibility within the staff organization will be established and
specified in job descriptions of administrative and professional
personnel.
2. Coordination of activities
and policies of administrative and professional departments will be achieved through
regularly scheduled meetings of appropriate department heads.
3. Each department head will be responsible to the
executive director or his or her designee for fulfillment of assigned
duties.
