Section 12:185-16.3 - Drinking water

(a) Employers shall furnish adequate supplies of pure drinking water for use of all employees at the pit or quarry and at the plant.

(b) Drinking water shall be protected against contamination at all times. Sources of water unfit for drinking shall be so posted.

(c) The use of the common drinking cup is prohibited.

(d) Sanitary drinking fountains shall be of a type approved by health authorities and in accordance with the American Standard Specifications for Drinking Fountains 24.2-1992.
