Section 11:4-35.8 - Appointment requirements for viatical settlement representatives

(a) A person shall not act as a viatical settlement representative without first obtaining an appointment from a licensed viatical settlement provider or licensed viatical settlement broker.
1. The
appointment shall be made on a form required by the Commissioner and
accompanied by a fee of $ 100.00.
2. If the appointment is revoked by either
party, the appointing viatical settlement provider or viatical settlement
broker shall notify the Commissioner of the revocation within 30
days.
