Section 11:21-7.16 - Obligation to offer individual health benefits plans

Members that offer small employer health benefits plan in this State shall offer and make a good faith effort to market individual health benefits plans pursuant to 17B:27A-2 et seq. and 11:20-24.6. Such requirement may be satisfied by the member or the member's affiliate since the definition of "carrier" at 17B:27A-2 says carriers that are affiliated companies shall be treated as one company.
