(a) This subchapter sets forth certain procedures and processes for the examination of the financial condition of a company, for the payment of expenses of any examination conducted pursuant to N.J.S.A. 17:23-20 et seq., and for maintaining certain information as confidential pursuant to N.J.S.A. 17:23-24f.

(b) This subchapter applies to all insurers licensed to transact insurance in this State and to any company or person subject to examination by the Commissioner pursuant to N.J.S.A. 17:23-20 et seq.
