Section 10:90-20.10 - WFNJ TANF/GA individuals not requesting a WFNJ FVO Waiver

Universal Citation: NJ Admin Code 10:90-20.10

Current through Register Vol. 56, No. 6, March 18, 2024

(a) Any applicant/recipient of any program administered by the CWA/MWA who self-discloses past or present family violence concerns or risk of family violence and does not request a WFNJ FVO Waiver, or an employee of the CWA/MWA who self-discloses family violence, shall be offered the opportunity to discuss the matter with the CWA FVO representative or designated MWA worker.

(b) Upon the request of the individual, the CWA FVO representative or designated MWA worker shall make an informal referral to the victim service provider agency for specialized services which the person may access on his or her own if he or she chooses to do so.

1. An informal referral to the designated victim service provider agency does not involve or require the completion of the standardized WFNJ FVO Risk Assessment process since the informal referral is not tied to a WFNJ FVO Waiver of any WFNJ TANF/GA program requirements.
