Section 10:90-12.4 - Municipalities that continue to administer WFNJ/GA

(a) Municipalities that continue to administer the WFNJ/GA program shall:
1. Provide for the municipal office
administering the WFNJ/GA program to be open a minimum of three hours a day, Monday through Friday, and to be
accessible to the public seven hours a day, Monday through Friday, to take applications for assistance and to
provide emergency assistance, and maintain a system approved by DFD to cover emergencies 24 hours a
day;
2. Provide for the issuance of cash assistance benefits, in
accordance with these regulations, by paper check, electronic benefit distribution, or other appropriate
means approved by the Commissioner;
3. Report all required case
data and financial information regarding the WFNJ/GA program to the Commissioner through the electronic means
specified by the Commissioner and in accordance with the timeframes/timelines established by the
Commissioner;
4. Issue photo identification cards for each client
at the municipality's option in order to facilitate benefit transactions; and
5. Establish and maintain a sufficient number of affiliation agreements
with local human services agencies for shelter and other services to timely meet clients' needs.
