Section 10:79-3.4 - Eligible children

(a) A child who meets all eligibility criteria of this chapter shall be eligible for NJ FamilyCare-Children's Program benefits, as follows:

1. A child who has not attained the age of 19.

(b) Any child receiving NJ FamilyCare-Children's Program benefits under the provisions of this chapter who, but for the age limits in (a)1 above, would be eligible for NJ FamilyCare-Children's Program under the provisions of this chapter and who is receiving inpatient services covered by NJ FamilyCare-Children's Program at the time he or she reaches the age limit, will continue to be eligible for the NJ FamilyCare-Children's Program until the end of the stay for which the inpatient services are furnished.

(c) An applicant who is 19 years of age or older shall be evaluated for eligibility under 10:69-4.1.
