(a) Podiatric services that are medically necessary are Medicaid and NJ FamilyCare fee-for-service reimbursable when performed by a licensed podiatrist in an independent clinic which is specifically approved to perform such services by the New Jersey Medicaid and NJ FamilyCare fee-for-service program. (b) A podiatrist should be Board Qualified, or preferably, Board-Certified by a Board recognized by the American Podiatric Medical Association.
