Section 10:62-2.3 - Providers of optical appliances and other services

(a) Within the restrictions of their respective licensure, the following are eligible providers upon fulfilling the Enrollment Process requirements in N.J.A.C. 10:49-3.2:
1. Ophthalmologists as defined in
10:62-1.2;
2. Optometrists as defined in
10:62-1.2;
3. Opticians as defined in
10:62-2.2;
4. Ocularists as defined in
10:62-2.2;
5. Independent clinics approved by the New
Jersey Medicaid/NJ FamilyCare fee-for-service programs to render eye care
services;
6. Hospitals approved by
the New Jersey Medicaid/NJ FamilyCare fee-for-service programs for
participation; and
7.
Ophthalmologists, optometrists or opticians in another state who are duly
licensed or meet the requirements of their own state with regard to the
dispensing of optical appliances within that state.
