Section 10:44C-5.6 - Clothing

(a) Each person served shall have an adequate supply of clean and well-fitting clothing appropriate to age, gender identity, individual needs and preferences, community standards, and season and weather conditions.

(b) Each person served shall have the opportunity to select and purchase clothing according to personal taste and preference.

(c) The licensee shall provide assistance to persons served who require assistance in order to maintain their own clothing.

(d) The licensee shall provide laundry facilities without additional charge to persons served, unless there is documentation in a person's ITP that the person served is to pay for the laundering of his or her own clothing or there is a provision in the licensee's contract for the person served to pay for the laundering of his or her clothing.
