The facility shall provide interpretation services for clients who do not speak English, are deaf or hard of hearing, and when other communication assistance is needed for clients who are blind or otherwise physically impaired; or where and when clinically necessary, the facility shall assist and document the referral of clients requiring such assistance to a program reasonably capable of accommodating their needs. The facility shall develop procedures to ensure that interpretation services are provided in a timely manner for urgent and emergency situations.
