(a) The facility shall maintain, or otherwise ensure, that all vehicles used for transportation of clients are in conformity with all motor vehicle and insurance laws and/or rules.
1. The facility shall maintain copies of
registration and insurance information on file for all vehicles used to transport clients, including staff's
personal vehicles, when applicable.
2. The facility shall keep
the name of each driver and a photocopy of his or her current driver's license on file, as well as a driver
abstract for all staff members.
3. The facility shall have a
policy addressing tobacco use by employees and clients in all vehicles used to transport clients.
