(a) New buildings and alterations and additions to existing buildings for freestanding outpatient substance use disorder treatment facilities shall conform with the New Jersey Uniform Construction Code, 5:23-3.2 , incorporating specified subchapters of the model code of the International Building Code 2000 (IBC 2000), New Jersey Edition, published by the International Code Council, Inc. (formerly BOCA), 4051 W. Flossmoor Road, County Club Hills, IL 60478-5795, appropriate to Use Group B, as amended and supplemented; and the 2006 edition of the Guidelines for Design and Construction of Hospitals and Health Care Facilities, published by the American Institute of Architects Press, 1735 New York Avenue, NW, Washington, DC 20006, telephone 202-626-7475, as amended and supplemented, incorporated herein by reference.

(b) New buildings and alterations and additions to existing buildings for outpatient substance use disorder treatment facilities which are part of an acute care hospital shall conform with the New Jersey Uniform Construction Code, 5:23-3.2 , incorporating specified subchapters of the model code of the International Building Code 2000 (IBC 2000), New Jersey Edition, published by the International Code Council, Inc. (formerly BOCA), 4051 W. Flossmoor Road, County Club Hills, IL 60478-5795, appropriate to Use Group B or Multiple Use Occupancy, Use Group B within an I-2 Use Group, as amended and supplemented; and the 2006 edition of the Guidelines for Design and Construction of Hospitals and Health Care Facilities, published by the American Institute of Architects Press, 1735 New York Avenue, NW, Washington, DC 20006, telephone 202-626-7475, as amended and supplemented, incorporated herein by reference.
