Section 10:161B-2.14 - Enforcement remedies

(a) The DOH Commissioner, or designee, may impose the following enforcement remedies against a substance use disorder treatment facility for violations of licensure regulations or other statutory requirements:

1. A civil monetary penalty for unlicensed operations;

2. Curtailment of admissions to a licensed substance use disorder treatment facility;

3. Reduction of a full license to, or issuance of, a provisional license;

4. Suspension of a license;

5. Revocation of a license;

6. Seek an injunction and/or temporary restraints; and

7. Any other remedies for violations of statutes as provided by State or Federal law, or as authorized by Federal survey, certification, and enforcement regulations and agreements.
