(a) The certified wetland or soil scientist shall maintain records to be used to support continuing education hours claimed.

(b) Records required by (a) above shall contain attendance verification in one of the following forms:

(1) Certificate of completion; or

(2) Transcripts from a professional society or institution.

(c) The licensee shall retain attendance verification records for a period of at least 4 years. Such documentation shall be made available to the board for random audit and verification purposes. Documentation shall support continuing education hours claimed on the renewal form. Failure to provide documentation for audit verification shall result in disciplinary action.

(d) Not less than 5 % of the certified soil and wetland scientists shall be randomly selected each year for audit by the board for compliance with Soil. 404.01.
