(a) A single trip permit shall be valid for one shipment of high-level radioactive waste during the period specified on the permit.
(b) A holder of a single trip permit shall:
(1) Confirm the single shipment schedule with
state police communications within 30 days of a planned shipment;
(2) Confirm the single shipment schedule with
state police communications within 24 hours of the scheduled departure;
and
(3) Immediately notify state
police communications of a shipment delay or cancellation.
