"Officer", for the purposes of this part, means any person who is assigned any of the following ranks or titles:
(a) Director;
(b) Executive director;
(c) Fire chief;
(d) Assistant fire chief;
(e) Deputy fire chief;
(f) Commissioner;
(g) Fire engineer;
(h) Fireward;
(i) President;
(j) Vice-president;
(k) Secretary;
(l) Treasurer; or
(m) General manager.
