(a) The air injection pump/pulse air system shall be required on all vehicles less than 20 model years old, if so equipped at the time of manufacture.
(b) A vehicle shall be rejected if:
(1) The air injection pump/pulse air system
is missing;
(2) It is plainly
obvious that the air injection pump/pulse air system does not function;
or
(3) Any hoses associated with
the air injection pump/pulse air system are missing or do not
function.
