Section Saf-C 3114.01 - Reporting An Accident

(a) Every accident involving a driver education vehicle while actively instructing driver education, shall be reported to the driver education supervisor, at the department of safety within 2 business days. The report shall be signed by the instructor.

(b) All instruction shall be stopped if the vehicle has sustained damage that may affect the safe operation of the vehicle.

(c) The report required by this section shall be in addition to and not in lieu of that required by RSA 264:25.

(d) Each accident shall be reported by the instructor involved in the accident to the department by completing and submitting form DSMV 291, "Driver Education Accident Report" (rev 09/17).

(e) The person completing form DSMV 291 shall sign and date the form under the penalty of unsworn falsification.
