(a) Pursuant to Saf-C 106-F:9, no license shall be issued until such time as the division has on file certified evidence that a surety bond is in force, from information provided by the applicant on form DSSP 55, "Bond for Private Investigator, Security Guard, or Bail Recovery Services" as revised 3/18.

(b) A surety bond required by this chapter shall state that prior to canceling or the expiration of the surety, the surety shall notify the division by giving 30 days written notice, to be sent certified mail.

(c) The surety shall be issued and remain in force for the term of the license.

(d) The principal sum of the bond shall be $50,000, and increased by $50,000 for each additional type of license held by any person.

(e) The principal for the bond shall complete, sign, date and submit the DSSP 55.

(f) The surety shall also sign the completed DSSP 55.

(g) A witness for the principal and surety signatures shall also sign the DSSP 55.
