(a) An affirmative answer to any of the questions on DSSP 260, (revised March 2017) shall require a clarification on the reverse side of the application form so that a determination of the circumstances can be made.
(b) The applicant shall sign DSSP 260 before submitting it to the division of state police. The applicant's signature shall indicate that the applicant:
(1) Understands
that any information provided by the applicant may be investigated as allowed
by law;
(2) Consents to the release
of information about the applicant's ability and fitness to carry a pistol or
revolver; and
(3) Certifies that
all the statements provided on the application are true, correct and
complete.
