(a) The passing grade for each knowledge examination shall be 80 percent.

(b) Each applicant discovered cheating, copying, or consulting with any person other than authorized licensing personnel, shall be immediately disqualified and re-scheduled for an examination no sooner than 30 days later. Each disqualified applicant shall not be required to repay any fees.

(c) Each applicant for an original commercial driver license shall pass the knowledge examination prior to taking the road skills examination.

(d) Knowledge examinations shall be valid for a period of one year from the date of issue of the individual's first commercial driver learner permit.
