Part Saf-C 1639 - SEPARATION DISTANCES OF AMMONIUM NITRATE AND BLASTING AGENTS FROM EXPLOSIVES OR BLASTING AGENTS
Section Saf-C 1639.04 - Barricades

Earth, sand dikes, or enclosures filled with the prescribed thickness of at least 3 feet of earth or sand shall be acceptable artificial barricades. Natural barricades such as hills or timber of sufficient density that the surrounding exposures requiring protection cannot be seen from the "donor" when the trees are bare of leaves shall also be acceptable.
