Section Saf-C 1609.03 - Storage of Detonators

(a) Detonators such as blasting caps, electric blasting caps and detonating primers shall be stored in a separate magazine intended for blasting supplies and shall not be stored in a magazine with other explosive materials.
(b) Detonators shall be stored in Types 1, 2, or 3 magazines, as set forth in Saf-C 1610, 1611, and 1612, except that electric blasting caps having leg wires at least 4 feet long may be stored in a Type 4 magazine as set forth in Saf-C 1613.
