(a) For the purposes of this section, in the event a school bus is declared out of service pursuant to this section, the school bus shall not be transported unless it is towed or fixed on the spot, and declared back in service by the repairman who fixed the school bus.

(b) The criteria to determine if a school bus is out of service shall be the "North American Standard Uniform Out-of-Service Criteria, April 1, 2023 edition as specified in Appendix B.

(c) In addition to (b) above, the following shall result in a vehicle being declared out of service:

(1) Failure to display a valid New Hampshire inspection sticker; or

(2) Failure to comply with Saf-C 1311 and all applicable rules.
