Computation of any period of time referred to in this chapter shall begin with the first day following the day on which the act which initiates such period of time occurs. The last day of the period so computed shall be included unless it is a day on which the New Hampshire retirement system office is closed, in which event the period shall run until midnight of the next day that the retirement system is open.
