(a) The purpose of the New Hampshire economic development matching grants program is to provide assistance to municipalities, counties, and organizations, as provided by RSA 12-A:32, to develop effective partnerships with state government to enhance economic development in the state of New Hampshire.

(b) The program encourages the development of high quality out-of-state promotion projects for municipalities, counties, and organizations to promote themselves to businesses or for workforce recruitment.

(c) The primary goals of the program are to assist in the economic development of municipalities, counties, and organizations, to raise the level of quality of the projects done by municipalities, counties, and organizations, and to provide both technical and financial assistance which will contribute to the economic vitality of the state.
