(a) The scholarship for orphans of police and firefighters shall be used to assist in funding of room and board at the institution for those students who are eligible to receive a tuition waiver for attendance at a NH 2- and 4-year public institution under RSA 187-A:20-a.
(b) Scholarships shall only be awarded to eligible students.
