Section Pos 1112.01 - Purpose

Universal Citation: NH Admin Rules Pos 1112.01
Current through Register No. 12, March 21, 2024

The tuition guaranty trust fund was created as an alternative to the surety indemnification options identified in RSA 188-D:20-a. However, there may be a period of overlap for the fund and these surety indemnification options until the fund reaches its operating balance. All schools licensed by the commission shall make annual payments to the fund, which shall be used only for the purpose of reimbursing students or their lenders in the event a school closed without completing the students' instructional programs and without adequately reimbursing the affected students.
