Section Plc 313.60 - Substantially Similar Requirements for Professions Regulated by the Board of Veterinary Medicine

For purposes of obtaining a license by endorsement for a profession regulated by the board of veterinary medicine, the current requirements of the licensing jurisdiction shall be as follows:
(a) Either:
(1) Graduate from one of the following:
a. A school of veterinary medicine accredited
by the American Veterinary Medicine Association (AVMA); or
b. A veterinary medicine school deemed
equivalent by the licensing jurisdiction; or
(2) Hold one of the following:
a. A certificate from the Educational
Commission for Foreign Veterinary Graduates (ECFVG); or
b. A Program for the Assessment of Veterinary
Education Equivalence (PAVE®) certificate; and
(b) Pass a nationally-recognized examination or examination deemed equivalent by the licensing jurisdiction.
