Section Phy 409.02 - Role of Physical Therapist Assistants

A physical therapist assistant shall be responsible for:
(a) Interventions and tasks appropriate to the plan of care when they have been delegated to him or her by a physical therapist;
(b) Making a written or electronic record of his or her services;
(c) Providing information to a physical therapist about a client's health status;
(d) Providing discharge information when requested to do so by a physical therapist; and
(e) Preparing billings when requested to do so by a physical therapist or the physical therapist assistant's employer.
