The purpose of this part is to implement the provisions of RSA 415:18, I-a. (e) to standardize and simplify the terms and provisions of blanket accident and health travel insurance policies covering unforeseen accidental death and dismemberment, and any financial loss incurred for medical and dental care while on a planned trip away from an individual's home or place of work not exceeding 12 months in duration, and to establish standards for the commissioner's approval of forms and rates under RSA 415:1 and RSA 415-A.
