(a) For initial determinations of eligibility for NHEP/FAP financial and medical assistance, the dependent child shall be younger than the maximum allowable age, as defined in He-W 601.55, on the first day of eligibility and on the day the first assistance payment is issued.

(b) Terminations of NHEP/FAP financial assistance due to a dependent child attaining the maximum age limit, shall be effective as of the first day of the month following the child's birth month.

(c) Terminations of NHEP/FAP medical assistance only due to a dependent child attaining the maximum age limit, shall be effective the day following the child's birthday.
