Section He-P 4093.01 - Exempt Concentrations
This part establishes limits of radioactive isotopes in gas, liquid, and solid concentrations which shall be exempt from He-P 4000 as specified in Table 4093.1 below:

Note 1: Many radionuclides transform into other radionuclides. In expressing the concentrations in He-P 4093 Table 4093.1, the activity stated is that of the parent radionuclide and takes into account the radioactive decay products.
Note 2: Where there is involved a combination of radionuclides, the limit for the combination should be derived as follows: Determine for each radionuclide in the product the ratio between the radioactivity concentration present in the product and the exempt radioactivity concentration established in He-P 4093 Table 4093.1 for the specific radionuclide when not in combination. The sum of such ratios may not exceed "1".
