Section He-P 4035.07 - Radiation Protection Program Changes

Radiation protection program requirements shall be as follows:
(a) A licensee shall revise its radiation protection program without DHHS/RHS approval if:
(1) The revision does not require a license
amendment;
(2) The revision is in
compliance with the rules and the license;
(3) The revision has been reviewed and
approved by the radiation safety officer and licensee management;
(4) The affected individuals are instructed
on the revised program before the changes are implemented; and
(b) A licensee shall retain a record of each radiation protection program change for 5 years. The record shall include:
(1) A copy of the old and new
procedures;
(2) The effective date
of the change; and
(3) The
signature of the licensee management that reviewed and approved the
change.
