(a) IDEP classrooms shall:
(1) Be maintained at a temperature not
less than 65 degrees Fahrenheit and not more than 75 degrees Fahrenheit. If the
room is not within those limits, immediate action shall be taken to remedy the
situation;
(2) Be adequately lit so
that clients can easily read presented materials and write
assignments;
(3) Have adequate
seating, so that clients can see the instructor, any visual aids used, and
other clients in the classroom;
(4)
Be equipped with tables for clients when writing is necessary; and
(5) Have access to a minimum of one bathroom
including hand-washing facilities.
(b) A non-weekend IDEP shall not provide overnight accommodations to clients.
(c) The following shall apply to weekend IDEPs:
(1) A weekend IDEP shall provide room
and board;
(2) A staff person shall
be in the building and accessible to clients at all times during the weekend
program; and
(3) Separate showering
and sleeping quarters shall be maintained for male and female clients attending
the weekend program.
