Section Hcp 302.03 - Audiologist Supervised Professional Practice Plan

(a) Each audiologist applicant shall have completed a supervised postgraduate clinical experience that conforms to the requirements of (b) below.

(b) The supervised professional practice plan required pursuant to (a) above shall:

(1) Detail the number of hours performing:
a.Diagnostic audiological testing;

b.Hearing aid dispensing;

c.Aural rehabilitation;

d.Counseling;

e.In-service training;

f.Staff meetings; and

g.Other professional services.

(2) Require the supervisor to:
a.Document the dates of:
1.Onsite observation;

2.Review of audiological rehabilitation records, therapy plans, diagnostic reports; and

3.Conference calls or case staffing that took place; and

(3) Provide a written statement and any and all documentation pertaining to the supervised professional practice plan.
