5. The Board modified the text in the following whys which is described in the rule:

(a) Excluded the preamble;

(b) Deleted "strive to" at the end of the first paragraph in Section I, II, and II and replaced it with "shall"; and

(c) Deleted Section IV: Genetic counselors and Society.

6. See #4 above and it may be obtained by visiting the Board's web site located at www.nh.gov/alliedhealth. The publication is free through either organization.

7. The material was not reproduced because it is the property of the National Society of Genetic Counselors and it is a national standard that all certified genetic counselors must follow. Incorporating the ethical standards leaves the text as written and keeps the standard and language the same as it is used the rest of the country.
