Section Fis 806.01 - Permit to Propagate Wildlife

(a) No person shall engage in the propagation of wildlife without a permit from the executive director in accordance with RSA 212:25.

(b) No wildlife shall be propagated unless it has been designated as controlled for these purposes under Fis 804.05 and permit has been issued. For purposes of this provision, a propagator shall not be required to obtain a separate permit to possess.

(c) This permit shall be valid only for the premises described in the application. The permit shall not be transferable and shall not be assignable.

(d) A person permitted to possess wildlife as a propagator shall have the wildlife inspected by a veterinarian for disease, general health and condition at least once each calendar year. This shall not apply to propagators that raise and sell quail, pheasant or chucker partridge instate and who sell all of their birds by the end of the calendar year.
