(a) Permittees shall handle the wildlife in a manner to prevent any injury or stress to the wildlife and protect the well being of the wildlife at all times.

(b) All wildlife shall be kept as free as possible from parasites or disease.

(c) When wildlife becomes afflicted with, or unsightly as a result of, disease or parasites, it shall be removed from public display or view by the permittee or the permittee's agent, and provided proper medical attention, or destroyed, in a humane manner, if necessary.

(d) A permittee shall notify the department in writing within 5 business days of any unexplained diseases or deaths occurring in wildlife possessed under the permittee's permit.

(e) A permittee shall notify the department within 72 hours of any escaped animals to include species, sex, identification numbers, and date and time of escape.
