Section Fis 605.01 - Taking of Oysters

(a) No person shall take oysters during the months of July and August.

(b) Residents properly licensed under RSA 211:62-a shall be permitted to take, between sunrise and sunset, not more than one-half bushel of unshucked oysters per day, by use of hand tongs, hand rakes, or by hand.

(c) Oysters shall not be taken through the ice, or in areas posted as closed.

(d) No person shall take or possess more than one-half bushel of unshucked oysters in one day while on, or leaving, any waters under the jurisdiction of the state.

(e) Oysters taken from the waters under the jurisdiction of the state shall not be sold.

(f) Any person taking oysters shall possess an oyster license on his person.
