(a) For the purposes of this section, "recreational take" means the taking of finfish by any method for personal use only and which are not sold, traded, or bartered.
(b) The recreational take or possession of Atlantic mackerel (Scomber scombrus) shall be no more than 20 per person per day.
(c) Notwithstanding paragraph (b) above, Atlantic mackerel purchased from a commercial dealer, with proof of purchase, do not count towards the possession limit of 20 Atlantic mackerel per day.
