Section Fis 502.02 - Taking of Bait Fish or Aquatic Invertebrates by Licensed Bait Dealers

(a) There shall be no closed season for taking bait fish listed in Fis 402.08 for bait, except as otherwise provided in Fis 406, Fis 407, and Fis 410, by persons holding a bait dealer's license and by methods prescribed in RSA 214:34-a.

(b) Persons holding a bait dealer's license may take crayfish or other aquatic invertebrates by hand, with nets, or through the use of bait traps. All other species shall be immediately released into the waters from which they were taken.

(c) All bait traps, holding boxes, or other receptacles shall be plainly marked with the name and address of the licensed owner or user.
