The daily limit for trout, as defined in Fis 401.01(z), taken in freshwaters of the state shall not exceed 5 fish or 5 pounds, whether taken from a single waterbody or several waterbodies. More restrictive limits specified in Fis 406 and Fis 407 shall apply to specific waterbodies.
