Section Fis 1508.07 - Instructor Certification Termination

(a) OHRV or snowmobile volunteer instructor certification shall be revoked by the executive director for:

(1) Conviction of a felony, misdemeanor, or fish and game law or rule violation;

(2) The consumption of alcoholic beverages within 2 hours before or during OHRV or snowmobile safety training courses;

(3) Physical or verbal abuse of students;

(4) Reckless or careless operation of an OHRV or snowmobile during an OHRV or snowmobile safety training course;

(5) Failure to make payment for any service rendered by the department or its agents; or

(6) Failure to maintain the minimum course requirements and standards.

(b) Instructors may notify the department in writing at any time if they wish to voluntarily terminate their OHRV or snowmobile instructor certification.
