(a) Pursuant to RSA 215-A: 21, V and VI, no person shall operate an OHRV unless the registration decals are attached, by the registrant, to the vehicle as follows:

(1) The registrant shall place one decal on the front fender and one decal on the rear fender, or at locations provided by the manufacturer;

(2) The registrant shall place decals so that they are clearly visible and not obstructed; and

(3) No decal shall be placed on a part of the vehicle that can be readily removed and used upon a different machine, including but not limited to a removable tailgate.

(b) No person shall alter a registration decal on a vehicle.

(c) No person shall affix or permit to be affixed to an OHRV a registration decal or plate that has been assigned by the department, or the registration authority of another jurisdiction, to another OHRV.
