(a) A certified hunter education instructor shall be automatically recertified and sent a new certificate if the instructor meets the following minimum requirements:

(1) The instructor certified to teach the hunter education course shall teach or participate in at least 2 hunter education courses in his or her current 2 year certification period; and

(2) The instructor shall attend a minimum of one instructor in-service training workshop during his or her current 2 year certification period or provide written documentation to the hunter education office of successful completion of professional development activities from a credible organization that contributes to his or her role and capacity as a volunteer instructor.

(b) Instructors failing to meet the requirements of (a) shall reapply as described in Fis 1202.01.
