(a) An applicant for a license to provide recreational saltwater fishing opportunities for persons taking finfish from coastal or estuarine waters shall complete and submit the "Application for Saltwater Fishing Vessels" form, Rev 05/22, available at marine-saltwater-fishing-vessels-app.pdf (nh.gov), to the department.

(b) Every applicant shall also provide:

(1) A copy of his or her current state issued boat registration; and

(2) A fee as determined in accordance with Fis 1110.09.

(c) On the form required by (a) above, each applicant shall make the following affirmation pursuant to RSA 214:18-b: "I certify that my privileges to fish, hunt, trap, guide, take lobsters, or engage in commercial marine fishing activities are not under suspension or revocation in any state or province, and further certify that I am aware that any conviction of certain felonies in any state or province prohibits the possession of a firearm or other dangerous weapon."

(d) The license shall expire on December 31 of the year of issue.

(e) The applicant shall only acquire the license in person, by mail from the department at 11 Hazen Drive, Concord, N.H. 03301, or downloaded from the department's website. If submitted to the department by mail, the applicant shall also enclose a business sized, stamped, self-addressed envelope to allow return of the license document by mail.
